If you want an nyc pizza experience you found the right place !!! Soon as you walk inn they have pizza by the slice or if your with your family or on a date there's like a vip section with tables now to the pizza very thin and crisp the way I like it with a spicy sauce can't wait to come back
A sleepy, unassuming pizza front, Scarr's stands tall against other NY juggernauts like Joe's and Prince St. There's essentially no seating indoors, and just a set of three benches for outdoor seating. Line wasn't too long and service was quick. Cost-wise, it's about $5 per slice, comparable to other street pizza slice shops. We enjoyed the Hot Boi the most - I'm a sucker for hot honey. Otherwise, everything else was just about average. The crust was thin and crunchy, which was great. I think I'd come back just for the crust and the Hot Boi.
So we got this pizza on Uber eats. It took a long time to get , which wasn't the restaurants fault. When we recieved it. It was ice cold. With that being said we had a microwave in our room and heated it up. It was pretty good. I can't imagine what it tastes like fresh. We will def be going here next time we are in nyc to find that out
I think I just found one of my favorite pizza spots. This restaurant has a fast take out side and a welcoming dine-in side with arcade games. I liked the ambiance. Amazing pizza!!! I had the pepperoni and jalapeno square slice with hot honey and my friend had pepperoni with hot honey. My slice was UNBELIEVABLY delicious, will be coming back as soon as I can lol
All the social media hype of Scarr's is on point. Fantastic slices no matter which you get but I tend to go with the original and the well known "HOT BOI". Everything is fresh out the oven and staff is so cool and friendly. Just a great spot to eat and hang. Love the dining area and the bar is really a great touch.
It's been on my list to try Scarr's forever, somehow never end up coming much to the LES. Finally got to try it yesterday. I got the hot boi and my friend got the margherita! It's classic NY style pizza, thin crust and foldable. The line moves fairly quickly and the staff is great. Great spot for a quick fix! Will come back.
Had to get a slice while visiting NYC. Tucked away in Chinatown, this was SO good. Good ratio of cheese and sauce with a nice crispy crust. On first pick up it did sag a bit but at the end of the day, wish we got more than just one slice. Fast service, too!
Checked out the legendary Scarr's. Waited in line for a couple slices (tip: if you're ordering pies it seems like there is a sit down option available that did not seem to have a long wait). Waited for about 15-20 min, ordered 3 slices which took another 10 min. Ate the slices there on the sidewalk. The hot boi was by far the standout for me. The spice of the toppings, the cheese and the crispy crust made it amazing. The cheese and pepperoni were both very good but not as great as the hot boi I felt. Inside at the counter was a pretty standard layout/ordering situation. I would go back only if I was in the area, worth at least 1 visit.
